Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) was created under the Urban Planning and Development Act of 1973. Its office is near the old bus station located in Ghaziabad. Ghaziabad, Loni, Murad Nagar and Modi Nagar are included in the development area under Ghaziabad Development Authority. Recently, nine villages of Greater Noida Authority ie, Gautam Buddha Nagar of the district have been included in the development area of GDA. The main objective of GDA is to prepare a Master Plan for planned urban development. According to the Master Plan, development and control includes acquisition of land for housing and urban development.
Ghaziabad authority has come a long way in providing services to the public and strengthening infrastructure. Recently, the GDA has set goals for joining Smart City so that people of the city can get maximum facilities. Explain that in order to curb corruption from online shopping in Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), Vice Chancellor Kanchan Verma has implemented the system of developed Government E-Market Place (GM) of the Government of India in the Authority. The imposition of this arrangement will not be a brokerage in the purchase of the authorization.
